Optimising the efficiency of recovering LPG products at Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant
Abstract
From the model built using Hysys software which simulates the technology of Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant, the authors evaluated the performance of the equipment and optimised the efficiency of LPG recovery when changing input conditions. The operating mode therein is established with the input gas being reduced so that the plant can process gas with an input flow rate of wet gas of about 1 million m3/day (much lower than the designed flow rate of 4.3 million m3/day), bringing high economic efficiency. Especially, the solution of cooling the outlet gas of compressor K-1011A/B/C/D to increase LPG recovery has used a simple technology (water spray system) to cool the inlet gas before processing, thus improving the efficiency of recovering the liquid product.
