Research and build a testing equipment system for determining paraffin deposition rate of crude oil (cold finger)
Abstract
Cold finger is an important method to evaluate paraffin deposition rate of crude oil during its production and transportation. This method is used in oil and gas transportation laboratories. The article introduces the new testing system for determining the paraffin deposition rate of crude oil, which has been upgraded from the old testing system at the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI). The new system has functions similar to imported commercial equipment, meeting all the requirements for sample testing from oil and gas production companies in Vietnam as well as in other countries in the region.
