Quản trị ESG trong lĩnh vực dầu khí

Tóm tắt

ESG đóng vai trò quan trọng trong kinh doanh hiện đại vì đây là yếu tố then chốt giúp doanh nghiệp xây dựng niềm tin với các bên liên quan và tiếp cận nguồn vốn. Một mặt, các nhà đầu tư tìm kiếm các công ty có thực hành ESG tốt để kiểm soát và giảm thiểu các rủi ro tiềm ẩn. Mặt khác, các công ty hoặc bên nhận đầu tư cần tránh hành vi "tẩy xanh" như đặt ra các mục tiêu không thực tế dưới danh nghĩa phát triển bền vững, đặc biệt là trong các ngành có rủi ro ESG cao như dầu khí. Vì những lý do này, quản trị (G) là nền tảng của ESG trong doanh nghiệp, và phản ánh cam kết của cấp quản lý cao nhất trong việc đạt được tất cả các mục tiêu ESG thông qua quản lý rủi ro, phát triển chiến lược và đảm bảo tính minh bạch.
