Solutions to improve cementing efficiency for wells in the eastern and northeastern areas of Nam Con Son basin
Abstract
Complicated geology together with high temperature and high pressure conditions (HTHP) are major causes of the difficulties and problems in well casing and cementing operation in the eastern and northeastern parts of Nam Con Son basin. The article presents the research results and proposes solutions for casing design and cement slurry design for different drilling intervals in order to improve the efficiency of casing and cementing for wells in the area.
