Abstract

The article introduces the principle of Oligocene tight reservoir formation as well as the relationship between the stratigraphy and the mechanical properties of Oligocene sequences E and F in Cuu Long basin. In addition, the authors present the methodology to estimate the geomechanical properties of rocks based on documentation and well test re- sults using hydraulic fracturing technique from 2012 to date.
